GENERAL RULES

Rhythm Health is a family practice and is not a walk-in clinic. You must have an appointment. The building is also home to Zulu MediSpa and Dynamic Health Studio who see their own clients.

APPOINTMENTS

For appointments with Dr. Botha:

  • Phone 403-255-5868 and talk to Annie or Denise

  • Phone at 9 am for an urgent appointment for the same day - we keep 10 spots open for this purpose

  • Email Annie at staff@rhythmhealth.ca

  • Book online! Call and ask how to set this up if you missed your email invitation.

For appointments with Dr. Lombard:

  • Phone 403-228-5866

CHECK IN

Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment time and check in with the front desk so that we know you have arrived.
If you are Dr. Botha's patient you may also check in using the tablet station that is set up across from the front desk. All you need is your healthcare number and date of birth.

PRESCRIPTION RENEWAL

All prescriptions can be renewed by making an appointment and seeing the doctor in person. Narcotics must be renewed in person. Alternatively, the following methods can be used to renew non-narcotic prescriptions for a $75 fee:

  • You can ask your pharmacist to fax a request to our office (403-252-7442)

  • You can phone in for a request Dr. Botha (403-255-5868) or Dr. Lombard (403 2285866)                                            Our staff will bill your credit card or we can send you an electronic invoice, and as soon as it is paid we will renew your script.

AFTER HOURS

After hours patients can phone 811 for advice from Health Link. In an Emergency, patients should go to the nearest Emergency Department. The PCN ( Primary Care Network ) also has an after hours clinic for non-emergencies.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require 24 hours notice if you are unable to make your appointment. Failure to do so can result in a $100 no-show fee.
If you are going to be late for your appointment, please call the office to let us know. If you are more than 10 minutes late you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.

RESULTS

All patients are responsible to get their own results from our office. Rhythm Health, Dr. Botha and his staff are NOT responsible to phone you for any results. It is the patients' responsibility to make an appointment and discuss the results with their doctor. No results will be given over the phone.

UNINSURED SERVICES

Both doctors have un-insured services and patients pay according to the type of un-insured service. We do have a private patient program that will cover these non-insured services with one annual fee. Some of these non-insured services include doctor's notes, prescriptions renewals, letters to massage/chiro/physio, and many other forms that you would otherwise have to pay for. Please discuss with Dr. Botha or Dr. Lombard in person if you want to sign up for this yearly program.
